Gor Mahia FC have parted ways with head coach Sinisa Mihic following a tough stretch in their title chase.
The Kenyan Premier League giants confirmed the decision on their official social media pages, stating the departure was mutual.
Two assistant coaches will now guide the team on an interim basis as Gor Mahia search for a new head coach.
Mihic took over in February 2025, stepping in after Brazilian coach Leonardo Neiva was shown the door in November 2024 due to poor results.
The split comes just days after a frustrating 0-0 draw with Murang’a Seal at the SportPesa Arena. That result allowed Kenya Police FC to open up a seven-point gap at the top, dealing a major blow to Gor Mahia’s hopes of a third straight league title.
Gor Mahia, now sitting third on the table with 54 points, are under increasing pressure as the season heads into its final stretch.
The club thanked Mihic for his service and wished him well in his next chapter.
