Golden Gate add Egypt winger Mohamed Nageh in free transfer
Egypt winger Mohamed Nageh has joined Golden Gate from Raya SC on a free transfer, giving the club a new left-sided attacking option ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 28-year-old completed the move on 12 August 2026. Nageh’s preferred position is left wing, and he joins Golden Gate after one season with Raya SC, where he arrived from Tersana in another free transfer in July 2025.
Nageh’s spell at Raya followed his departure from Tersana on 12 July 2025. He then spent the 2025-26 campaign with Raya before making the next move in his career within Egypt. The switch to Golden Gate represents his second club change in just over a year, with both transfers completed without a fee.
The Egyptian winger has one recorded senior appearance in the available recent statistics. He played 80 minutes in an Egypt Cup match, although no goals or assists are recorded for that appearance. His role on the left side of attack is the clearest detail attached to his playing profile as he begins his time with Golden Gate.
Nageh was born on 7 February 1998 and is 28 years old. His arrival adds experience to Golden Gate’s attacking group, while his previous move to Raya and subsequent switch to Golden Gate show a period of movement between Egyptian clubs.
The transfer was registered on 12 August, and Nageh is now a Golden Gate player after leaving Raya SC as a free agent.
