Striker Goduine Koyalipou has signed with French club RC Lens in a move that bolsters their attacking options.

The 24-year-old Franco-Central African forward arrives from Bulgarian outfit CSKA Sofia for a reported fee of €2 million.

Koyalipou has agreed to a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Ligue 1 side, making his return to France after a successful stint abroad.

The forward began his professional career at Niort, debuting at the age of 17, before catching the eye with impressive performances in Belgium’s second division.

At Beveren, he found the back of the net 16 times in just 30 appearances, further raising his profile.

The striker’s time in Bulgaria proved even more fruitful. At CSKA Sofia, Koyalipou excelled, finishing as the second top scorer in the Bulgarian First League with 14 goals in 16 matches.

His goal-scoring prowess has made him one of the most sought-after forwards in the market, and RC Lens wasted no time securing his signature.

Koyalipou’s move to RC Lens signals the club’s intent to strengthen their squad and add depth to their attacking line.

The striker’s experience in European competitions, coupled with his goal-scoring ability, provides the French side with a promising asset as they look to build on their ambitions for the rest of the season.

For Koyalipou, this move marks a significant step in his career, as he returns to the French football scene with the chance to further develop his talents in one of Europe’s top leagues.

With his proven ability in front of goal, Koyalipou will be hoping to make a significant impact in the Ligue 1.
