DR Congo striker Glory Kiveta returns to Eintracht Braunschweig on two-year deal
DR Congo forward Glory Kiveta Ndongalasiya has completed a return to Eintracht Braunschweig, signing a two-year contract with the German club after spending the past four seasons at Hamburg.
The young striker will initially feature for Eintracht Braunschweig’s reserve side as he begins the next phase of his development. His return marks a fresh opportunity to re-establish himself at a club he previously represented before moving to Hamburg.
Kiveta will be part of the club’s Under-23 squad, a level he did not have the opportunity to reach before leaving Braunschweig four years ago. The move provides him with another chance to continue his progress while working towards a place in the senior setup.
The Congolese attacker arrives with the ambition of earning promotion to the first team, which competes in Germany’s second division.
He has already started training alongside the club’s professional environment as he adapts to his new surroundings and prepares for the upcoming season.
After joining Hamburg, Kiveta spent four seasons developing within the club’s youth structure, representing both the Under-19 and Under-23 teams. During that period, he gained valuable experience while continuing to refine his game.
Across his time at Hamburg, the forward made a total of 79 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists.
Those numbers reflected his steady development and contribution in youth football, although he will now be aiming to improve on that record after returning to Braunschweig.
The transfer offers Kiveta another opportunity to continue his football education in a familiar environment while pursuing his long-term objective of breaking into senior professional football.
His immediate focus will be on establishing himself in the reserve team and demonstrating that he deserves a place among the club’s professional squad.
Consistent performances at Under-23 level could strengthen his chances of earning opportunities with the first team during the coming campaign.
For Kiveta, the move represents both a return to familiar surroundings and the beginning of a new challenge as he seeks to continue his development in German football and take the next step in his career.
