CAF (Confederation of African Football) has revealed the shortlist for the “Player of the Year” award, narrowing it down to 10 players. The list includes Yaya Touré, Didier Drogba, Vincent Enyeama, and others. Mohamed Aboutrika, winner of the African Champions League with Al Ahly, appears on the list and also competes in the “Player of the Year playing in Africa” category. The winners will be announced on January 9 during the gala in Lagos, Nigeria. The shortlist for “Player of the Year” includes:
