Giovanni Kean Dosse returns to Poggibonsi after spell without a club

Italy and Ivory Coast forward Giovanni Kean Dosse has joined Poggibonsi, returning to the Italian club after spending the previous period without a club.

The 33-year-old centre-forward has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027. The move was completed on 19 August 2026, with no transfer fee announced.

Kean Dosse previously played for Poggibonsi during the 2025-26 season after joining from Asti. That move was completed as a free transfer on 23 August 2025, but he left the club on 1 December 2025.

His return gives Poggibonsi an experienced striker who has spent much of his career in Italy’s lower divisions. Kean Dosse has played for a number of Italian clubs, including Asti, Nola, Albese, Termoli, Atletico Torino, Castrovillari, Rieti, Sancataldese and Roccella.

He began his senior career with Asti after coming through the Pro Vercelli Under-19 setup. His career has also included spells with Giulianova, Finale, PDHA, Acqui 1911, Vado and several other Serie D sides.

Kean Dosse’s recorded career appearances include 66 in Serie D-A, where he scored twice and provided one assist. He has also featured in other Serie D groups and in Serie C-C, as well as the Coppa Serie D and Coppa Serie C.

Born in Chivasso, Italy, on 25 July 1993, Kean Dosse stands 1.83m tall and is listed as a centre-forward. He has represented both Italy and Ivory Coast at nationality level, although his established club career has been spent in the Italian game.

Poggibonsi have now brought the striker back to the club on a deal that keeps him there through the end of June 2027.
