FIFA President Gianni Infantino has extended his congratulations to Hany Abo Rida on securing another term as a member of the FIFA Council.
The Egyptian football chief, now serving his fifth consecutive term, remains the council’s longest-standing member.
In a message to Abo Rida, Infantino acknowledged his dedication and influence within global football governance.
“I would like to repeat your warmest congratulations for your re-election as a member of the FIFA Council, during the fourteenth extraordinary general assembly of the Confederation of African Football,” Infantino stated.

“This result is an appreciation of the work you have accomplished, your experience and efficiency, and I wish you all the best and payment in this new state,” he added.
