Ghiviborgo add 18-year-old left winger Salah Taboucha on free transfer

Dutch-Tunisian winger Salah Taboucha has joined Italian club Ghiviborgo from Utrecht U19 on a free transfer.

The 18-year-old has signed a contract with Ghiviborgo until 30 June 2027, completing his move on 22 August 2026. He joins the club’s squad in Serie D – E after leaving Utrecht’s under-19 side.

Taboucha plays as a left winger and is left-footed. Born in Edinburgh, he holds Netherlands and Tunisia nationality and stands 1.76m tall.

The move follows a season in which Taboucha featured for Utrecht’s youth teams. He made nine appearances in the U19 Div. 1 Fall competition, playing 488 minutes, after progressing to the under-19 group from Utrecht U17 at the start of the 2025-26 season.

He also recorded 14 appearances and four goals in the U17 Div. 1 Fall competition, with 1,136 minutes played. Those performances formed part of his development through Utrecht’s youth structure before his switch to Italy.

Taboucha joined Utrecht’s youth setup from Alphense B. Jgd on 1 July 2023, having previously been with Quick DH Yth. His progression took him from the youth group to Utrecht U17 in July 2024, before he stepped up to the club’s under-19 side a year later.

Ghiviborgo, based in Italy, have now added the teenager to their attacking options for the 2026-27 season. Taboucha’s arrival gives the club a young wide player capable of operating on the left side of the attack.

The transfer marks Taboucha’s first move away from Utrecht’s youth teams and his first recorded switch to a senior Italian club. He leaves the Netherlands after three years in Utrecht’s setup, having advanced through the club’s age-group sides.

Taboucha’s contract with Ghiviborgo runs for the 2026-27 campaign and is scheduled to expire on 30 June 2027. The Dutch-Tunisian winger has completed his free transfer from Utrecht U19 to Ghiviborgo.
