Ghana international, Thomas Partey, is expected to leave Arsenal at the end of the season although there are reports of a new contract that will be presented to the player.
The Gunners are preparing for a busy summer in the transfer market, with significant changes anticipated in Mikel Arteta’s squad as the club looks to reshape both its incoming and outgoing transfers ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
According to information gathered from sources, both Partey and Italian midfielder Jorginho are likely to leave Arsenal when the summer window opens.
The contracts of both players will expire in June 2025, and the club appears unlikely to offer them extensions.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly in advanced negotiations to secure the signature of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi. The club believes he will be an upgrade to Thomas Partey and Jorginho.
Although Thomas Partey is constantly linked with a move away from Arsenal, he has always shown commitment to the club whenever he has played.
He is loved by the fans, with many of them hoping that Arsenal will offer him a new contract for at least one more season.
