Ghana’s Salis Abdul Samed hails ‘father figure’ Franck Haise
Ghana’s Black Stars midfielder Abdul Salis Samed has described OGC Nice manager Franck Haise as a father figure to him.
Salis secured a move to Nice during the summer window, reuniting with his former RC Lens manager at the. He penned a three-year deal, keeping him at the club until summer 2028.
The Ghana international established himself as a key member of the RC Lens squad under Haise two seasons ago, with the club securing qualification to the Champions League at the time.
Despite his modest performance at Sunderland last term, Franck Haise ensured he capture the services Black Stars midfielder in the summer.
However, the former Clermont Foot tactician has heaped praises on Franck Haise for the instrumental role he has played in his career.
“He has helped me a lot since I left Clermont Foot to join RC Lens. He has helped me in terms of my football, but also on a human level. He is my European dad, you could say. I know him very well. When he says something, I know it is for my good, so I always listen to him. Haise is someone who is very important in my life,” he said as quoted by Getfootballnews.
Since joining Nice, the Black Stars midfielder has made three appearances in the French Ligue 1.
