New Greuther Fürth signing Joshua Quarshie has vowed to give his all to help the club secure their place in Bundesliga 2, following his loan move from Hoffenheim.
The 20-year-old German-born Ghanaian center-back joined Fürth for the rest of the season after a difficult spell at Fortuna Düsseldorf, where he made just 16 appearances in a year-long loan.
Despite his limited game time, he remains a key figure in Germany’s U20 national team and is eager to prove himself at club level.
Quarshie expressed excitement about the opportunity to play for Fürth and is eager to make an impact.
“I was thrilled when Fürth’s management approached me. It was a quick decision for me—I want to take this step, work hard, and earn my playing time here.
“I’m looking forward to my first training session today and will give everything to help the team,” he said.
Fürth, currently just three points above the relegation zone, see Quarshie as a crucial addition to their defensive setup.
The club is hopeful that his arrival will strengthen their backline and contribute to their survival in the second half of the season.
