Ghana international Inaki Williams will captain Athletic Club on Tuesday night when they take on Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League.

Unfortunately, his brother, Nico Williams, is injured and will not feature in the game against the English Premier League club.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Inaki Williams lamented the unavailability of Nico, insisting that Athletic Club will miss his quality in the Champions League opener.

“It’s a shame that he can’t be there tomorrow because we know how important he is to everyone. Nico is a very unbalanced player and creates chances out of nowhere. We miss him, but everyone here contributes, and those who play and come off the pitch can do well so it doesn’t show,” he said.

Nico Williams is not only going to miss the Arsenal match but will also be absent for games against Valencia, Girona, and Villarreal.

He is expected to be available for the next Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund.

Tomorrow’s match between Athletic Club and Arsenal will kick off at 4:45 pm at San Mames.
