Ghana international Christopher Antwi-Adjei delivered a top-class performance to help Schalke 04 share spoils with Fortuna Düsseldorf in the German Bundesliga 2.

The 30-year-old lasted 73 minutes as his outfit came from behind to snatch an important draw against their opponent on home turf.

Antwi-Adjei played a pivotal role by setting up Schalke 04’s equalizer at the VELTINS-Arena.

The first half of the much-anticipated clash ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the net.

After recess, Fortuna Düsseldorf broke the deadlock through Dawid Kownacki following an assist from Tim Oberdorf in the 62nd minute.

However, the host staged a strong comeback to level the score, ten minutes to full time.

Mali international Moussa Sylla pulled parity in the 72nd-minute mark after he was set up by the Ghanaian winger.

The 30-year-old Ghanaian winger has been outstanding since joining the club in the summer transfer window. He has provided two assists in 9 matches in the Bundesliga 2.
