Ghanaian youngster Pierre Ekwah emerges as transfer target for Stuttgart and Real Betis

Ghanaian youngster Pierre-Emmanuel Ekwah Elimby has emerged as a transfer target for German Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart and La Liga club Real Betis.

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder, who is in the books of Sunderland has become a priority target for the several clubs, having showcased glimpses of good performances.

Ekwah joined Sunderland in January 2023 from French club Saint Etienne and penned a three-year deal with the club.

Sunderland is open to cashing in on the midfielder in the ongoing window, with several clubs including Stuttgart and Real Betis expressing huge interest in the player.

Both Stuttgart and Real Betis are keeping tabs on the midfielder, but has yet to officially contact Sunderland for his services.

Ekwah has featured for the France U-16 team but is yet to decide which country he will represent at senior level.
