Ghanaian winger Prince Ampem was on target as Eyüpspor secured a dominant 4-1 victory over Antalyaspor in Turkish Super Lig action at Corendon Airlines Park.
Ampem capped off a stellar performance with a well-taken goal in the 62nd minute, sealing an emphatic win for his side.
Eyüpspor took control early, with Mame Thiam opening the scoring in the 32nd minute and doubling the lead from the penalty spot three minutes later. Ahmed Kutucu extended the advantage just before halftime, finishing clinically after a swift counterattack.
Antalyaspor briefly rallied in the second half with Ramzi Safouri reducing the deficit in the 48th minute. However, Ampem restored Eyüpspor’s three-goal cushion, slotting home from the left side of the box after being expertly set up by Thiam.
Despite Antalyaspor enjoying 52% possession, Eyüpspor’s clinical finishing proved decisive. The result marks Eyüpspor’s first-ever victory against Antalyaspor, shifting the head-to-head record to 2-1-1.
With this win, Eyüpspor continues their rise up the Super Lig standings, leaving fans and pundits alike impressed by their attacking prowess.
