Ghanaian teenager, Gabriel Quartey has sealed a move to Danish Superliga outfit, Aalborg BK.
The deal will take effect in January 2025 when the talented winger turns 18 years old.
The Danish club confirmed the move in an official statement on Monday, December 2.
“AaB has made a four-year deal with offensive winger Gabriel Quartey. The contract applies from 14 January 2025, when Gabriel Quartey turns 18,” a statement from Aalborg BK said.
Gabriel Quartey has signed the deal with Aalborg BK after excelling during a trial period at the club in November where he had the chance to feature in a friendly match against Vendsyssel FF.
According to Aalborg BK’s sporting director James Gow, the Ghanaian has been signed after proving himself during all training sessions.
He said the club is confident it will help the player to further develop to become a top star.
“Gabriel Quartey has shown himself well in training with both the Superliga squad and the U/19 League team, and we can see some top skills that he can hopefully further develop and display in the coming years in AaB,” James Gow said.
