Hearts of Oak have officially announced the appointment of Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as head coach on a two-year contract, following what the club described as a “comprehensive evaluation” of the technical team and player performance at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The Ghanaian heavyweights, in a statement released on Friday but issued on Thursday, said: “Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has been appointed as Head Coach on a two-year contract,” as part of efforts to implement strategic changes to strengthen the squad.
Dramani, a former head coach of Asante Kotoko and ex-assistant coach of the Ghana senior national team, brings a wealth of experience to the role.
His coaching résumé includes stints at Danish side FC Nordsjælland, the Right to Dream Academy, and leadership of the Black Galaxies.
He also worked with the Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and holds UEFA ‘B’ and CAF ‘A’ coaching licenses.
The statement added that Dramani will meet with the playing squad to outline his plans and philosophy. His immediate task is to prepare the team for the 2025 President’s Cup and the Eko International Tournament in Nigeria.
