Ghanaian international, Kelvin Boateng, has sealed his move to Austrian Bundesliga club, FK Austria Vienna.
The club confirmed the deal in an official statement issued on Tuesday, June 3, indicating that the striker has penned a four-year contract with the Violets.
“Austria Vienna has secured the first signing of Kelvin Boateng for the 2025/26 season. The 25-year-old striker is moving from Vienna to the Austrian side, signing a four-year contract with the Violets,” the club statement said.
Boateng impressed during his time at First Vienna FC, where he found the net 21 times in 43 second-division appearances since arriving in the summer of 2023.
He continued his form into the 2024/25 season, scoring 11 goals for the Blue and Yellows.
Notably, the pacey forward has already left his mark at the Generali Arena. On August 16, 2024, he scored in a 2-2 draw against Austria Vienna’s partner club SV Stripfing, briefly giving First Vienna the lead.
Now at FK Austria Vienna, Kelvin Boateng will be looking to replicate his scoring form and contribute significantly to the club’s ambitions.
