Ghanaian international, Christopher Bonsu Baah was on target for KRC Genk on Friday night and helped the team secure a 2-1 win against St. in the Belgian Pro League.
The talented attacker started on the flanks for his team and put up a top performance to ensure his team bagged all three points.
He scored the first goal of the match in the 35th minute when he latched onto a nice pass from Konstantinos Karetsas and fired an unstoppable shot into the back of the net of the hosts.
That goal sent the visitors into the halftime break in the lead and in control of the match.
In the second half, Genk doubled their lead in the 78th minute thanks to an equaliser from Toluwalase Emmanuel Arokodare.
Despite the efforts of the hosts, the team could not complete a comeback and had to succumb to the 2-1 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
With his goal on Friday night, Christopher Bonsu Baah now has three goals and three assists after making 24 appearances in the 2024/25 Belgian Pro League.
