Honduras-born Ghanaian defender Wisdom Niiayitey Quaye has joined CD Victoria in the ongoing January transfer window.

The 26-year-old right-back joins the La Ceiba-based club on a permanent deal and is expected to play a huge role in the Honduras first-tier league.

Quaye’s arrival will strengthen the defense of CD Victoria, who are determined to make a meaningful impact in the Liga Nacional Apertura.

Previously, the highly-rated defender played for CDS Vida and Real Espana and is now set to continue his trade with CD Victoria.

Quaye, who was born in La Ceiba, Honduras has a Ghanaian descent and has represented Honduras at various levels, including the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The enterprising right-back has made three appearances for the Honduras national team since making his debut in January 2022.
