Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has shared his excitement after inspiring Leicester City to victory over Norwich City in the English Championship.

The former Sporting CP attacker continued his explosive start to the season on Saturday, setting up his outfit match-winner at Carrow Road. Issahaku’s perfect cross in injury time was met by Jordan James as the Foxes ended a run of four games without a win.

Norwich City opened the scoring in the second half through Mathias Kvistgaarden following a pulsating goalless draw in the first department of the clash.

Bobby De Cordova-Red, who replaced Ghana captain Jordan Ayew in the 72nd minute, responded in the 75th minute with a ferocious strike.

Issahaku then combined with Jordan James in injury time to snatch a late winner for the Foxes.

However, the Ghanaian international has taken to social media expressing his joy following his side hard-fought away win.

“Never losing the focus. A good way to take a break. Thanks to the traveling fans, and when we are back from the break it will be a different game” he wrote on Instagram.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian winger has been outstanding this season, scoring three goals and delivering three assists in 15 appearances for Leicester City.

He is expected to join the Black Stars squad for the upcoming international friendly matches against Japan and South Korea.
