The Ghana Black Stars have received a boost with the effective returns of the Ayew brothers, Andre and Jordan, to the national team. The brothers confirmed their decision to come out of premature retirement by writing to the Ghana Football Federation (GFA), as requested.
Following the return of Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng, who both issued apologies and confirmed their commitment to the national team, the Ayew brothers expressed their willingness to rejoin the Black Stars in a letter. The GFA welcomed their decision, stating that their return would reenergize the team for future challenges.
This development means that Ghana will have a nearly complete squad for the upcoming match against Zambia, the last match of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers. The return of key players enhances the team’s prospects and boosts its strength ahead of important competitions.
