Ghana striker Dennis Tetteh leaves Al-Nasiriyah FC after one season

Ghana centre-forward Dennis Tetteh has left Al-Nasiriyah FC and becomes a free agent after completing his departure from the Iraqi club on 3 August 2026.

The 31-year-old joined Al-Nasiriyah from Golan SC on 1 August 2025, with that move recorded as a free transfer. He spent one season with the club before ending his time in Iraq and moving into the unattached player market.

Tetteh has played across leagues in Egypt, Belarus, Lebanon and Iraq during his career. His previous clubs include Golan SC, Al-Kahrbaa Club, Bourj FC, Akhaa Al-Ahly, Slavia, Tanta SC, Entag El Harby, El Mokawloon and Berekum Chelsea.

The Accra-born forward has recorded 50 appearances and eight goals in the Vysheyshaya Liga, while his career record in the Premier League includes 28 matches and three goals. He also scored three times in 18 Lebanese Premier League appearances and found the net twice in two Egypt Cup games.

Tetteh’s continental record includes six AFC Cup appearances and one goal, along with appearances in the CAF Champions League. He has also featured in the Belarusian Cup, the Iraq Stars League and the Iraq FA Cup.

A right-footed attacker standing 1.85 metres tall, Tetteh began his recorded senior career in Egypt with El Mokawloon before moving to Entag El Harby and then Tanta SC. He later continued his career in Belarus with Slavia, followed by spells in Lebanon and Iraq.

His highest recorded market value was €200,000, reached during his time with Bourj FC in the 2023-24 season. Tetteh now leaves Al-Nasiriyah without a new club listed and is available after completing the switch on 3 August 2026.
