Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo signs long-term contract with AFC Bournemouth

Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has committed his long-term future to AFC Bournemouth.

The in-demand striker has signed a new contract with the English Premier League outfit, keeping him at the club until 2030.

“AFC Bournemouth is pleased to announce that Antoine Semenyo has signed a new long-term contract with the club, which runs until the summer of 2030,” the English club announced on Tuesday, July 1.

The statement continued, “The 25-year-old Ghana international has been a key figure at Vitality Stadium since joining from Bristol City in January 2023.

“Semenyo enjoyed a standout 2024/25 season, notching 13 goals and seven assists in all competitions as the club achieved a record-points tally in the Premier League (56) and attained its joint-highest finish (ninth).”

Speaking on his new deal, Antoine Semenyo shared his excitement and promised to give his best to the club by working hard always.

“I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season.

“From the fans to the staff and my teammates, I can’t speak highly enough of the people around the club. It’s a great place to be and I’m excited to get back to Bournemouth and continue the hard work with the new season just around the corner,” Semenyo said as quoted on the Bournemouth website.
