Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has refused to give up on the Premier League title chase despite Manchester City sharing the spoils with Tottenham Hotpsurs on Sunday.
Semenyo, who joined the Sky Blues this winter has hit the group running, scoring four goals in matches for the club. The Ghana international was on target when Manchester City played out a 2-2 draw with Spurs in a highly competitive clash.
The draw leaves Manchester City six points behind log leaders, Arsenal as the Premier League title race heats up.
But Semenyo remains confident about his outfit title chances, with 14 matches to end the English top-flight campaign.
“We’ve got more games, 14 to go. We’re six points behind [Arsenal], it’s not the end. We have to keep going. Anything can happen. 14 games to go, they might lose a couple and we might win. The dynamic changes and we have to see what happens…” he said after stalemate with Tottenham Hotpsurs.
After 24 matches into the campaign, Arsenal find themselves on top of the standings with 53 points, while Manchester City occupies second spot with 47 points.
The Ghana international has now scored 12 Premier League between Bournemouth and Manchester City, marking his best ever season in the top-flight.
