Ghana names 32-man squad for CHAN qualifiers against Nigeria

Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, head coach of Ghana’s Black Galaxies, has unveiled a 32-man squad ahead of their African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles. The team will begin training at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram starting November 25.

The camp will feature rigorous tactical drills, fitness sessions, and practice matches.

After a brief pause for Ghana’s national elections in early December, preparations will resume on December 8.

Ghana hosts the first leg on December 21, with the return match in Nigeria between December 27-29.

The aggregate winner will secure a spot in the 2025 CHAN tournament in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.

Ghana previously defeated Nigeria in the 2023 CHAN qualifiers, triumphing via penalties.
