Ghana midfielder Salis Abdul Samed celebrates OGC Nice’s hard-fought win over Lille

Ghana international Salis Abdul Samed has acknowledged the stern competition his outfit, OGC Nice encountered in the French Ligue 1 clash against Lille.

The Black Stars midfielder started and played for 69 minutes as Nice cruised to a 2-0 home win over their opponent in the week 11 clash, held at the Allianz Riviera on Wednesday night.

The former Clermont Foot star impressed for Nice, contributing to his outfit victory in the highly competitive clash.

“Difficult game, but still got the three points” the Ghana international wrote on social media, while celebrating the sides hard-fought victory.

Nice scored in either side of the pitch as they cruised to victory to merit the three maximum points at stake.

Morocco international Sofiane Diop opened the floodgate for the home team in the 29th-minute mark after converting perfectly from the spot before Isak Jansson cemented the win with a strike in the 87th-minute.

Since joining Nice in the summer, the Black Stars midfielder has made eight appearances, serving an assist across the period.
