Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak and Ashanti Kotoko played out a 1-1 draw on Sunday in a friendly double header, as both teams fine-tune preparations ahead of the Ghana Premier League kickoff.
Frank Sarfo Gyamfi opened the scoring for Kotoko in the 23rd minute, capitalizing on a dominant first-half performance by the Porcupine Warriors.
The Phobians, who struggled early on, brought in Togolese striker Aguidi Foovi in the second half to bolster their attack. The change paid off as Robin Gnagne grabbed a late equalizer to salvage a draw for Hearts.
