Ghana duo Jordan Ayew and Fatawu Issahaku to work under Ruud van Nistelrooy at Leicester City

Ghana duo of Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku are expected to work under Dutch tactician Ruud van Nistelrooy at Leicester City.

The former Manchester United assistant manager is set to take over the Foxes following the sacking of Steve Cooper after a string of poor results in the English Premier League this season.

Van Nistelrooy’s appointment follows Cooper’s sacking, with Leicester currently 16th in the league, just one point above the relegation zone.

The Foxes new manager will now oversee the progress of Ghanaian duo Jordan Ayew and Fatawu Issahaku.

Jordan Ayew has made an immediate impact at Leicester City despite the club’s poor form. He has racked up three goals since his arrival in the summer from Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian winger Fatawu Issahaku is sidelined for the season with an ACL injury. The talented 20-year-old, known for his pace and creativity, was expected to add depth to Leicester’s flanks but will now focus on recovery.

Van Nistelrooy, whose managerial record includes a stint with PSV Eindhoven and a brief interim role at Manchester United, inherits a Leicester squad in need of revitalization. His immediate task will be to inspire the team ahead of their next Premier League match against Brentford on Saturday.
