Ghana defender Oscar Naasei becomes Real Madrid transfer rumour
Ghanaian centre-back Oscar Naasei, currently at Granada CF, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old joined Granada’s first team from Recre Granada in July 2025 and remains under contract until June 2028. Any move would take him from Spain’s second tier to LaLiga, with Real Madrid named as the possible destination.
Naasei has made two appearances for Granada in the 2026-27 LaLiga2 campaign, playing 22 minutes without scoring or assisting. He has not started either match, according to his current-season record.
The right-footed defender has spent his development in Spain since joining Granada’s under-19 side from Emmanuel City in 2023. He later moved to Recre Granada before stepping up to Granada CF, where his recorded market value is €1.5m.
The rumour comes with no reported transfer fee or probability attached, and there is no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs. Naasei’s current contract gives Granada control of his immediate future, while his limited senior experience would mark a significant change in level if the reported link developed into a formal move.
For now, Naasei remains a Granada player, with his deal running through 30 June 2028.
