Ghana international Joseph Aidoo has emerged as a top transfer target for Real Valladolid and Parma Calcio as they seek to secure his services in the January transfer window.

Aidoo, who ruptured his Achilles tendon in October 2023, has struggled to regain his full form, despite recovering from the injury.

Despite showing signs of improvement, the enterprising defender has had a limited playing time due to Celta Vigo’s fierce competition in defense.

Since returning from injury, Aidoo has managed only two appearances in the Copa del Rey and one in the La Liga.

Aidoo’s representatives are concerns about his situation and has reportedly asked for a loan move in the winter window as he seeks for playing time.

It is said that fellow Spanish outfit Real Valladolid and Italian Serie A side Parma Calcio have contacted Celta Vigo for a possible loan move for the defender.

Both clubs intends to secure the services of Aidoo until the end of the season and are ready to cover half of his salary to facilitate the signing of the highly-rated defender.

Joseph Aidoo has been out of the Ghana national team for over a year now and is really looking forward to getting back to competitive action and probably secure his place back into the Black Stars.
