Ghana defender Jeffrey Schlupp set to join Scottish side Celtic on loan

SCHLUPP 1

Ghana international, Jeffrey Schlupp is on the verge of completing a loan move to Scottish giants Celtic.

The versatile defender has reportedly agreed to the move and will travel to Scotland to complete the move in the next few hours.

According to sources, verbal agreement for a loan move is already in place and there will be no buy option.

This means for any permanent move to Celtic to happen, Jeffrey Schlupp must impress throughout his time in Scotland to convince the club to spend in the summer to secure his services from Crystal Palace.

The former Black Stars regular is making the loan move to Celtic to get regular playing time.

Although an important figure in the Crystal Palace dressing room, Jeffrey Schlupp is struggling for playing time this season. He has played just 12 matches this season in the English Premier League and is yet to score or provide an assist.

The Celtic move will provide a chance to play regularly to rediscover his form.
