German defender of Sierra Leonean descent, Antonio Rüdiger, has been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
This comes after the Real Madrid centre-back met with officials of the Saudi club.
Rudiger was recently seen dining with Al Nassr’s sporting director, Fernando Hierro and Fran Porras, a trusted advisor to Hierro and a notable figure in Spanish football.
Several agents were also present at the gathering, adding fuel to growing speculation about a possible transfer.
Rüdiger was previously linked with a move to Al-Ittihad last summer. However, Al Nassr have now emerged as the frontrunners in pursuit of the defender, especially with the Saudi club stepping up efforts to reinforce their backline after the FIFA Club World Cup.
For now, Rüdiger remains focused on recovery after undergoing knee surgery. He is aiming to return in time for Real Madrid’s second group stage fixture against CF Pachuca at the Club World Cup.
He is currently under contract with Real Madrid until June 2026.
