German forward of Senegalese descent, Leroy Sane, is travelling to Turkey later tonight ahead of his proposed move to Super Lig side Galatasaray.

The 29-year-old is set to leave Bayern Munich this month upon the expiration of his contract.

Despite the best efforts of the German Bundesliga champions, they have been unable to convince the forward to extend his contract.

According to sources, Leroy Sane has agreed to a move to Galatasaray and will begin a new chapter of his career in the coming months.

It is understood that the forward is scheduled to travel to Turkey tonight. Upon arrival, he will undergo medical examinations on Thursday as part of his transfer to Galatasaray.

Sane and the Turkish club have an agreement in place already and will sign the documents to become a new Galatasaray player after his medicals.

Checks have revealed that the former Manchester City star will be signing a three-year contract with the Super Lig champions.
