German-Senegalese forward Leroy Sane ‘incredibly happy’ after move to Galatasaray
Germany forward of Senegalese descent, Leroy Sane, has expressed his excitement after completing his move to Galatasaray.
The attacker sealed his move to the Turkish Super Lig club on Thursday, June 12.
Speaking in his interview with the media team of Galatasaray, Leroy Sane said he is ‘incredibly happy’.
“First of all, I am incredibly happy. I cannot describe my happiness. I can hear the fans right now, which is a very different feeling. In short, I have to say that I am incredibly happy to be here,” Leroy Sane said.
He continued, “I played here before. It was an incredible atmosphere, an incredible environment. Frankly, there were a lot of fans and they were very vocal against me. I am very happy that they will be behind me now and I am very excited to play in front of Galatasaray fans in my first match here. First of all, I am very grateful to them. It is really important to come here at this hour. It means a lot to me. That is why I am grateful to them. I am very happy to meet them, to be with them. I thank them very much.”
The German attacker has joined Galatasaray after seeing out his contract with German champions Bayern Munich.
He has signed a three-year deal with his new club and will be hoping to win trophies with the club during his stay in Turkey.
