RB Leipzig have joined the race to secure the signature of France international of Congolese descent Bradley Locko in the current transfer window.
The 23-year-old defender, who plies his trade for Stade Brest is considered as one of the best left-backs in the Ligue 1 following a solid display during the 2023/24 season.
However, he missed almost the entirety of the 2024/25 campaign after suffering an ACL injury in pre-season. Prior to that injury, he had been heavily linked with a move away from Brest.
Locko is on the radar of several clubs including Lille and Leipzig, who are keen on securing his signature this window.
Whilst Brest are trying to extend his current deal, which expires in 2027, Leipzing intends to snap up the defender ahead of the 2025/26 season. Meanwhile, the French club has slapped a €10m valuation for the transfer of the defender.
Locko has been in the books of Stade Brest since 2023 and has been an integral member of the squad.
At 23, the enterprising left-back has capped three times for the France national team since marking his debut in July 2024.
