German midfielder of Nigerian descent, Felix Nmecha, is reportedly on the radar of several English Premier League clubs ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
After overcoming early-season injury setbacks, the 25-year-old midfielder has firmly established himself as a key figure in the midfield of Borussia Dortmund. With a contract running until 2028, Dortmund are in a strong negotiating position.
Nevertheless, a move abroad remains a possibility. Transfer insider Ekrem Konur reported on fussballdaten that top Premier League sides, including Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Manchester United, have all expressed interest in the German-Nigerian midfielder.
Dortmund are reportedly seeking a transfer fee in the range of €45–55 million. Nmecha’s appeal to English clubs is heightened by his “homegrown” status, stemming from his time in the Manchester City academy.
No formal offers have been submitted yet, but according to a source, negotiations could commence soon. A move could also be financially advantageous for Nmecha, with the potential for a significant increase in salary.
