Germany-born defender of Nigerian descent, Nnamdi Collins, has reacted to the transfer rumours linking him with a move away from Eintracht Frankfurt in the next summer transfer window.

Speaking in an interview with Bild, Collins admitted that the reports linking him with a transfer had come as a surprise.

“Everything I’ve read about it on the internet is new to me,” he said.

He added, “That’s why I’m quite surprised by some things. But that’s football, we all know the business. Rumours pop up here and there, but I’m very happy to be here at Eintracht.”
