Germany international of Ivory Coast descent Serge Gnabry has committed his future to giants Bayern Munich, signing a new deal at the club.

The 30-year-old enterprising attacker has put pen to paper on a contract running until 30 June 2028, warding off interest from European clubs.

Gnabry’s previous deal was set to expire this summer, fueling plenty of speculation about his future, but that chapter is now closed.

For Gnabry, the decisive factors in renewing his contract were the unique team atmosphere, the support of the fans, and the comfortable life in Munich. The attacker has, however, reiterated his outfit desire to chase more major trophies in the years ahead.

With contractual issues resolved, Gnabry will be aiming to contribute significantly towards the success and growth of the German giants.

He joined Bayern Munich from Werder Bremen in 2017 for €8 million and has since established himself as a key member of the team.

The 30-year-old has made 311 appearances for the Bavarian giants since joining the club, racking up 100 goals and providing 69 assists.

At the international level, the 30-year-old attacker has made 57 appearances, scoring 25 goals across the period.
