German defender of Ivorian descent, Jonathan Tah, has finally said yes to his move to Bayern Munich.
The centre-back has informed Bayer Leverkusen of his decision, with the club confirming they are aware of the move.
Bayern Munich are now expected to initiate formal discussions over the transfer fee as they aim to finalise the deal in time for Tah to feature in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
Once the agreement is reached, Jonathan Tah will sign a three-year contract with Bayern Munich.
He will also have the option of extending for an additional year at the end of the initial three-year deal.
Tah’s move to Bayern Munich comes after the player announced ahead of the end of the season that he would be leaving Bayer Leverkusen.
The experienced defender is expected to provide a major squad boost for Bayern Munich next season and beyond. Bayern Munich are expected to recruit more players before the start of next season.
