Germany-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Hendry Blank, has stressed that he is determined to use his strengths to succeed at his new club Hannover 96.
The youngster sealed a one-year loan move to the German club on Tuesday, June 24.
Speaking in his first interview, Hendry Blank expressed his excitement, adding that he is convinced he is in the right place.
“Anyone in Germany who knows a little about football has a connection with Hannover 96. The anticipation of walking into the stadium here is huge. On the pitch, I’m characterised by a certain calmness, especially in situations with the ball and in build-up play.
“When I’m not in possession of the ball, I can sometimes be a bit more aggressive in one-on-one duels. I want to use my strengths to be successful with the team, while also developing myself as much as possible. I’m convinced that I’m in good hands at 96,” Hendry Blank said as quoted by the club’s official website.
At Hannover 96, Hendry Blank has become the club’s ninth signing this summer. He joined from Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.
