German-Cameroonian defender Bruno Numbisie completes TS Dortmund move

German-Cameroonian right-back Bruno Numbisie has joined TS Dortmund on a free transfer, signing a contract with the Westfalenliga 2 club until 30 June 2027.

The 19-year-old defender moves to Dortmund after departing Schalke 04 Under-19s. Numbisie had been without a club since leaving Schalke’s youth side on 1 July 2025, before completing his move to TS Dortmund on 22 August 2026.

Numbisie was born in Munster and stands 1.75m tall. He is a right-footed defender whose preferred position is right-back, and his arrival gives TS Dortmund a young option on the right side of their defence.

His recent record includes 26 appearances in the U19-Bundesliga West, where he scored once and provided two assists. He also featured in the U17-Bundesliga West and several national youth competitions, including the DFB-Pokal der Junioren and the U19 Championship.

The move continues a career that began in the Munster area. Numbisie joined BW Aasee’s youth setup before moving to Munster’s youth teams in 2017. He then switched to Borussia Dortmund’s academy in 2019, progressing to the club’s Under-17 side.

In 2023, Numbisie left Borussia Dortmund Under-17s to join Schalke 04 Under-19s on a free transfer. He later spent a year without a club before returning to organised football with TS Dortmund.

Numbisie has represented Turkspor Dortmund at national-club level, while his listed nationalities are Germany and Cameroon. His contract at TS Dortmund runs through the end of June 2027, and the transfer was completed without a fee.
