Fast-rising Guinea-Bissau winger, Geovany Tcherno Quenda has been named in the Portugal squad for the March international break.
Born in Bissau, the 17-year-old has spent years in Portugal and currently plays for top side Sporting CP.
Since debuting for the club, the prodigy has been unstoppable, establishing himself as one of the most exciting attackers in Europe.
Courtesy of his dazzling displays in the Portuguese Primeira, Geovany Quenda has been handed his maiden senior national team call-up to play for Portugal in the March international break.
He will be part of the squad that takes on Denmark in the quarter-finals of the Uefa Nations League this month.

Meanwhile, Geovany Quenda is reportedly set to sign for English Premier League side Chelsea.
Sporting CP manager Rui Borges believes it is not surprising that the teenager is wanted by such a top club.
“He has grown quickly for a 17-year-old. It’s natural, given everything he has shown in a great team like Sporting, that he is linked to other clubs. As much as we want to help him grow, even in mental terms because he will always change, it is part of his growth, and he has to learn to live with it,” coach Rui Borges said.
