George Ilenikhena transfer: Schalke linked with Al-Ittihad striker

Nigerian-French centre-forward George Ilenikhena is being linked with a move from Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad to Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04.

Ilenikhena, 19, is under contract with Al-Ittihad until 30 June 2029, meaning any move to Schalke would require an agreement between the two clubs rather than a free transfer. His current market value is listed at €10m.

The teenager’s position is recorded as centre-forward, with the proposed switch representing a move from Saudi Arabia to Germany. Schalke’s interest comes as the club are linked with adding Ilenikhena to their attacking options, although the rumour does not include a reported transfer fee or a stated probability of completion.
