Genoa pursue Leicester defender Woyo Coulibaly in Serie A switch
Malian-French right-back Woyo Coulibaly is the subject of a reported move from Leicester to Genoa, with the proposed transfer to Serie A rated at 98%.
The 27-year-old remains a Leicester player and has a contract with the club until 30 June 2029. He has made one appearance this season, featuring for 74 minutes in the EFL Cup, while he has not played in League One.
Coulibaly joined Leicester from Parma in January 2025 for €2m. He spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Sassuolo before returning to Leicester at the end of June, and his current market value is listed at €2m.
The defender began his senior career at Le Havre before moving to Parma in 2021. He helped Parma win the Italian second division in the 2023-24 season, prior to his move to England.
The proposed switch would represent a return to Italy for Coulibaly, who has already played for Parma and Sassuolo. Genoa’s interest comes as he has had limited involvement for Leicester at the start of the 2026-27 campaign, with his only competitive appearance coming in the League Cup.
Any move remains a rumour, with Coulibaly still contracted to Leicester and registered with the club.
