Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray have secured a bank guarantee to proceed with the signing of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
The Turkish champions, early this week, offered to pay €75 million for the Super Eagles sensation.
The fee, which is the same as the release clause of the 26-year-old, was going to be paid over a period of time.
While Napoli agreed with the plan to pay the fee in instalments, the club demanded that Galatasaray provide financial guarantees.
Today, Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano has reported that Galatasaray have made a 70 million euro offer with bank guarantees to Napoli for Victor Osimhen.
The new offer with the bank guarantee is currently being considered by officials of the Italian Serie A champions.
It is, however, unclear if Napoli will accept the new offer with the bank guarantees.
Victory Osimhen is open to his permanent switch to Galatasaray after impressing for the club during his loan stint last season.
During that campaign, Osimhen scored 37 goals in all competitions and was named Turkish Super Lig Player of the Season after propelling Galatasaray to clinch the league title.
