Relations between Younes Belhanda and Galatasaray supporters remain tense. On Tuesday, during the Champions League clash against Club Bruges, the Atlas Lion faced a mixed reception for the first time since his fallout with fans on October 22.
According to Turkish media cited by 360 Sport, Belhanda was initially booed by a small segment of the crowd, though the majority later showed their support with applause. The incident highlights that many Galatasaray fans have yet to forgive him for directing insults at the stands after being booed during the October 22 match against Real Madrid.
With tensions still high, Belhanda is expected to depart the club in January. Several suitors are reportedly interested in acquiring the Moroccan midfielder, including teams from Russia and China, while clubs in Saudi Arabia have also expressed interest ahead of the winter transfer window.
