Galatasaray have moved to secure the services of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal this summer.
Osimhen has become a subject of interest for several clubs including Saudi giants Al Hilal, and Chelsea, as he is set for a permanent departure from Napoli.
The Nigeria forward spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, playing an instrumental role in the clubs success in the Turkish top-flight.
The 26-year-old forward had a phenomenal season, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists in 41 matches, tallying a remarkable 45 goal contributions.
His outstanding performance have inevitably attracted the attention of football giants across the globe, who are knocking on Victor’s door more persistently with each passing day.
According to reports, Galatasaray believes they can secure the signature of the Nigerian striker, despite interest from England’s top clubs.
The Turkish giants are optimistic about negotiations with Napoli and Osimhen. In an attempt to lure the forward, Galatasaray is prepared to offer Osimhen a salary in the range of 15-20 million euros.
However, Osimhen’s transfer fee, which is set at 75 million euros remains the only stumbling block for his acquisition. Napoli wants to receive the transfer fee as quickly as possible, avoiding extended payment terms.
