Turkish champions Galatasaray have reportedly set a massive €150 million valuation on Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen amid growing interest from Barcelona and other top European clubs.

Barcelona are said to view Osimhen as the ideal successor to veteran striker Robert Lewandowski, whose contract with the Catalan side runs until 2026.

However, any move for the Super Eagles star could prove complicated due to the club’s financial challenges and Osimhen’s hefty €15 million annual salary.

The 26-year-old recently completed a permanent transfer to Galatasaray following a prolific loan spell from Napoli and has continued his fine form, netting 37 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.

According to reports from Turkey, Galatasaray’s valuation exceeds Osimhen’s former Napoli release clause by €20 million.

It is a clear indication of the club’s determination to keep hold of their prized asset.

Osimhen remains contracted to the Istanbul giants until 2029, placing Galatasaray in a strong negotiating position should any offers arrive.

With the €150 million price tag, Barcelona will have no chance of signing the Nigerian due to their current financial standing.
