Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray are interested in signing Cameroonian defender Sacha Boey on loan from Bayern Munich.
The French-born right-back, brought in from Galatasaray in January 2024, has struggled to find form or fitness since arriving in Munich.
Persistent injuries have kept him sidelined for much of his time at Bayern. And when he has played, his performances haven’t lived up to expectations. Now, according to sources, Boey is one of the top names on Bayern’s list of potential departures.
The 24-year-old is reportedly frustrated by his lack of minutes on the pitch and is considering his next move.
Galatasaray, where he previously made his name, have been monitoring the situation for a while and have now decided to pursue signing the defender.
The Turkish Super Lig club is preparing an offer to sign Boey on loan for a year. The deal will include a purchase option with a fee less than the 30 million euros Bayern Munich paid for him.
